How to choose a church

There are hundreds of churches in Amsterdam, in many different languages.

This month (read August and September) there are several activities. One of them is Sail Amsterdam 2010. This activity isn't organised by ISMA, but it's worth your time, if you have some free time to spent. It's from 19-23 August. Visit http://www.sail2010.nl/ for more information.

This college year will be opened with an activity on Friday the third of September. We will organise a Dutch games night in Uilenstede. There will be: a lot of different Dutch games available to try out, room to chat with other international students and Dutch students and last but not least something to eat and to drink. It will take place in the Common Room of the Quest House, located on the Laan van Kronenburg 9.

Welcome in holland!

For everybody who is new in Amsterdam: welcome to the Netherlands. Most likely, you are looking forward to learn more about this 'strange' country and to learn some Dutch words, like 'Good morning'.
